Talentpilot

About the client
Talentpilot is an AI-powered platform designed to simplify and enhance HR processes by combining validated psychodiagnostic insights with structured data. It helps companies make more informed hiring and development decisions by aligning personality traits, values, and competencies with specific roles and team dynamics.

Starting point
When I joined Grenade Castle, I was introduced to Talentpilot, one of the agency's flagship projects.
The design itsef didn't represent their tech-heavy nature the main menu on top was very inconsistent. Some important pages were approachable only through footer links. Whole sitemap needed to be redesigned.

First iteration
Blackfish studio (huge shout-out to Jan Vítek) delivered fresh new branding that served as the foundation for my web design ideas. We collaborated closely to ensure my design vision aligned with his branding.
With only one month allocated for both web design and Webflow development, the project was successfully launched a few days ahead of schedule. This was the final result.
The first iteration included many interactive and eye-catching elements, like a slowly moving wave. Unfortunately, the wave significantly impacted website performance—our top priority—so we removed it.

Interactions
We kept other micro-interactions, like cards stacking on each other during scroll and a 3D circle that bends according to the user's mouse position—created by the multi-talented Tomáš Havel in Spline.

Second Iteration
Talentpilot team is very agile and changes their product as soon as they see the need from their client.
The second iteration responded to the growth of larger clients by placing social proof prominently on the homepage from the very beginning. The hero section introduced a product explainer video as the primary entry point, allowing users to understand the platform without relying on long-form copy.
At the same time, the product evolved in how it communicated its value, clearly separating solutions for companies and individuals — a distinction reflected both in the site architecture and within the video itself.

Introducing Alex
Alex was my most favorite page to build. Tom specifically requested beams of lights from the top as he saw it on other tech-related site and it worked great. Site was optimized so that we could squeeze social proof and other trust gaining features at the top before the fold. Huge should out to Tomáš Havel who designed Alex herself.
My only pain-point was to design the tagline “Don't hire humans for AI jobs” which easily deepened my doubts about future of webdesign itself. 😅

Last Iteration
I noticed that the trend of play with lights and shadows doesn't end so I took it step further by placing stat cards on a horizon. That way user could see all the benefits right away and it was easy to combine it with subtle animation as well. Parallax animation was added to all the cards.
