Modernising an Industrial E-shop

Europower Parts is a supplier of power transmission components and industrial spare parts used in manufacturing, maintenance, and heavy-duty operations. Their catalogue includes bearings, chains, belts, couplings, and other technical components for industrial customers.

The company already operated a functional e-commerce platform, but its visual identity lacked consistency and the overall user experience felt outdated. The goal was to modernize the store, improve conversion-focused UX, and create a more professional digital presence while respecting a limited budget and existing technical constraints.

The project began with stakeholder workshops and competitor research, focusing on established industrial and manufacturing brands to identify patterns that could improve navigation, product discovery, and customer trust.

Balancing Budget, UX and Visual Design

The original vision included a fully custom e-commerce experience. Midway through the project, the available budget was reduced substantially, forcing the team to rethink priorities and focus resources where they would create the greatest value for users and the business.

While the final solution was built on top of an existing e-commerce framework, significant effort went into redesigning the customer experience. Rather than accepting the default layouts, I redesigned key sections in Figma and adapted them to better support user goals, business requirements, and industry best practices.
